HercuLean Meal Prep was started when two brothers – one a former bodybuilder, the other a passionate home chef – decided to get back in shape. When one brother said we couldn’t eat Ketchup, the other asked, “What about Cilantro?”

After our friends saw us getting in shape, they wanted us to cook for them, too. What began as cooking for ourselves soon turned into creating healthy and delicious frozen entrees and selling them out of our new meal-prep Grocery store located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

While we started in our own kitchen, today we have an impressive facility we call “Plant One”, where we have a highly controlled environment and process all of our food using whole ingredients. We take pride in the fact that we cook our own product and have made what we think are the most unique frozen entrees out there.

 

Today our fundamental focus remains true to our original values of cooking wonderful food and helping people discover the best version of themselves.

Compared to your average meal prep company, we are substantially more invested and preoccupied with food safety and quality. Our facility operates under a food safety plan that is third party audited. Our temperatures and environment are continuously monitored and recorded in real time.
